Searching the database
Step 1 - Pick poll year (please bear in mind that each poll year represents the calendar year of trading of the previous year). You may select multiple poll years.
Step 2 - Set up the RESPONDENT PROFILE of the group you wish to query.
a) Select the INSTITUTION TYPE of respondents you want to include in your query (for example non financial corporates) - you may combine institution types.
b) Select the TOTAL ACCOUNT SIZE of the respondents you wish to include in your query.
c) Select the SERVICE PRIORITIES of the respondents you wish to include in your query.
d) Select the REGIONS/COUNTRIES of the respondents you wish to include in your query.
If you leave any of the above unticked the system will automatically include all respondents that conform to the profile you have chosen.
Step 3 - Results Data, select the areas that you are interested in:
TURNOVER/MARKET SHARE is quantitative data and based on volumes submitted in the Euromoney FX Poll.
OVERALL CLIENT SERVICE, RESEARCH RANKINGS, PRODUCT RANKINGS & CURRENCY RANKINGS are qualitative data and based on ratings (from 1 lowest to 7 highest) that respondents submitted for their various bank counterparties.
SERVICE PRIORITIES are the level of importance that respondents attach to the various service criteria listed when choosing FX bank counterparties.
Step 4 - Hit the search button.
Tailoring your results
There are several ways you can tailor the results:
a) If you wish to narrow the number of firms that are ranked use the criteria function in the search box.
b) Tick the firm names that you wish to keep in the table/graph then click on the show only selected button beneath the table to refresh the results and the graphs.
Save
Save your search results as well as your graphs in PDF, JPG or PNG format. You may also export results data into a CSV file.
